Dear friends and customers,

As you know, our governments are doing everything possible to speed up the eradication of COVID-19. In this regard, Prime Minister Legault put Quebec on a “break” yesterday by closing all businesses deemed non-essential.

It turns out that accounting services are considered essential, among other things, to ensure that taxpayers who are entitled to refunds have access to this cash as quickly as possible.

It is with great consideration for the health of our community that we have decided that our offices will remain closed to the public as announced last week, for the three-week period indicated by Prime Minister Legault yesterday.

We want to encourage everyone to stay home as much as possible. It is possible for you to send us your documents electronically via our secure portal, by mail or if absolutely necessary in person by dropping your documents in the boxes outside the offices.

For my friends in the Outaouais region, the office is also closed to the public and since the government is asking not to travel between various regions of the province, I will not be going to Gatineau for the next few weeks. I will therefore ask you to send me your documents by post or via the portal.

Every small effort counts…

Eric and your entire team of professionals at Porter Hétu International (QC) Inc.
